Our story

I am Daniel Lee, the son of two immigrants. Until the age of 13, I resided in Jamaica, with my mother, while my father, a U.S. citizen from Liberia, lived in the United States. The transition to the U.S. was challenging as I grappled with adjusting to both West African and American cultures while preserving my Jamaican identity. Making new friends and rediscovering how to engage with hobbies and school became a journey of self-discovery.

Soccer played a pivotal role, providing solace and helping me form meaningful connections. Playing at Saint Louis Park High School and participating in club soccer from 8th to 12th grade enriched my life. Post-graduation, I ventured into coaching with Futsal Society and worked extensively.

While working as a valet, the idea of detailing emerged, aiming to offer convenience to those with limited time for car maintenance. Launching Lee’s Detailing became a passion project, revealing my perfectionist side. Investing in myself and expanding skills, I encountered the challenges of entrepreneurship, learning to navigate the delicate balance between personal and professional relationships.
